Information on Roswell Season 1 DVD and the Roswell Season 2 DVD Release Date!

Rob was able to get his hands on the Roswell Season One DVD before the release date. Here's what he had to say about the DVD and when Season 2 will be released:

I thought I'd let you know that here in New York City there's a store called DVD Explosion that often gets stuff a week or so in advance of the official release date, and I bought Season One there last night.

I'm really thrilled with the collection. There are not many extra features really-- several commentaries, one screen test, and one deleted sceen. I guess I was hoping for a little more, but the point really was to have great quality versions of the episodes. The other thing was that much of the music in the episodes themselves has been changed. A note in the box from Jason Katims talks about how expensive licensing the music would have been and how the original idea was to showcase bands on the edge of getting known, so he inserted lots of new music for the box set. I can't really remember which songs were used in which episodes, so I'm fine with that personally. Just as long as they kept the Dido theme song, which they did!

Another note in the box promised Season Two sometime this summer.
