In September 1998 Melinda Metz published the first of what
would become a ten-book series called Roswell High.
The series immediately piqued the interest Warner Brothers
and Jason Katims, who created a one-hour pilot. The show became
a success.
The first five books were released in close succession in
late '98 and early '99. When Roswell's pilot episode finally
aired on October 06, 1999, the books were soon re-released
with new cover art. The final five books of the series were
released monthly from April to August 2000.
