Liz and the others saw this and got up and ran to my side trying to stand me up. Tess got in front of me and asked if I was ok but I didn't say anything to her. My body was definitely in pain but I ignored the pain in my body that's what I get being a Buddhist type person. I learned this while reading books on how to be a Buddhist is to ignore all surroundings and pain. Then some weirdo in a Ups suit comes into the Crashdown and goes over to Max and asked "If he knew a guy named Kyle Valenti. Max just stood there and then pointed me out and the guy just looked and gave me a cold look. The others helped me up and walked back to the booth and sat back down and then the guy goes over to me and said I got a package for you. I didn't say anything because I didn't buy anything or I don't know that someone had sent a package to me. I just stood thee and said ok can u please give me the package. Gladly he said and he grinned evilly and quickly punched me and I hit the wall next to the door of the kitchen. I grabbed my jaw and felt his strong punch he quickly ran towards me and did like a football tackle and he rammed me through the wall into the kitchen. The others abruptly stood up and each of them got of the booth and looked on as the fight progressed. He stood over me and he picked me up by my collar of my shirt and starting punching my face. I was bleeding from my head and he kept laughing as he punching me. Max and the others had enough of this and max used his alien powers to pull him away from me and threw him back into the Crashdown.

He landed with a loud Thud and Max said in a hero type voice and asked why are you doing this to Kyle. He didn't day anything until Max used his alien powers again to throw him to the wall. I opened my eyes and examined my face and noticed my eyelids had been cut open by his brutal punches and my face was swollen. No matter I tried to stand up and I did and my legs felt like jello. I looked at everyone else and saw that they were beating the mysterious guy. But he was laughing at their attempt to beat him and Max, Mike, Liz, and Izzy was shocked to hear the man laugh. When he came down off the wall he has not a scratch on him only his clothes were worn. He stood straight up and said, "Is that the best you could do well now it's my turn". He shoots bolts of energy from his hands to knock them down. They tried fighting back but he kept on fighting and then the mysterious guy. The name is Major Force and I am your executioner with an evil grin and laughed. While the others were distracting Major Jackass Maria and Alex quickly got to the kitchen where I was and they tried to get me out of the Crashdown by the back door. I tried to get back into the Crashdown but Maria and Alex were holding me back I so wanted to get back there and pay that bastard Major Force for hurting my friends and me. When they got me out of the Crashdown I heard a scream from Tess which made my blood boil with anger.

My green lantern ring started to glow with my anger my power started to grow. Maria and Alex saw this and just looked at my ring and asked me how was I doing that I replied in a heroic voice no time to explain I got to save the others. With that I ran out of the alley of the Crashdown and ran to the front and ran in and saw Max, Liz, Izzy, and Mike laying on the floor all battered up and bruised plus they were unconscious after the grueling battle they had with Major Force. I stood and looked at Major Force with hatred in my brown eyes seeing him without a scratch on him. He looked at me and grinned at me and said in a rather cold voice "so you are the guy with that fantastic ring well it's going to be mine in a few minutes". I didn't waste any time I rushed at him and punched him in the face but it didn't do any damage and he smacked me across the Crashdown and hit the wall hard and fell down in a thud. I got back up but I was a little woozy and used my power ring to put on my Green Lantern Uniform on and started attacking him with a barrage of attacks with a little help from my power ring.

While I was doing battle with Major Jackass a being of immense power comes towards the sun. The being gets in front of the sun and blocks its rays of sunlight from earth and started draining it. I got so enraged I pointed my hand at him and he laughed as he though it was a feeble attempt to stop him which he was wrong. My hand started to glow and without warning I clenched my hand into a fist. Then the unthinkable happened a beam of pure energy surged through my ring and with the added power from my new alien powers hit Major Force so hard he came crashing out of the Crashdown. I saw blood pouring from his nose and mouth. I flew right towards him but he knew he wasn't going to win so he flew up into the sky and escaped. I landed where I knocked him down from inside the Crashdown and remembered the others inside are injured so I flew back into the Crashdown and revived the others. Thankfully they didn't know who I really was and Tess said it's the guy who saved her. Before they could thank me I flew out of the Crashdown and flew all the way home and walked through the front door. I plopped down on the couch and started watching mind-altering TV. I kept watching TV until Tess came home and saw me there and sat down next to me and told me what happened in the Crashdown after I left. But I already knew it since I was there and all then I noticed outside it was getting dark and I looked at my watch and saw it was 4:30 PM. I stopped her for a moment and tried to ask her if she would marry me. But I chicken out as usual and then I asked Tess my girlfriend does she know its getting dark outside and it is only 4:30. She shrugged and she kept talking to me explaining to me what happened but I wasn't paying any attention I was wondering what's going on outside.

I excused myself and went outside and everything was pitch black except for the streets since the streetlights just turned on. I looked up in the sky to stare at the sun but I didn't see the sun at all and it started to get cold. Something or someone did something to the sun. So I looked around and noticed everyone is inside so I used my power ring to put on my Green Lantern Uniform to become the Green Lantern and I flew up in the sky to the Justice League Headquarters that is revolving around the earth like the moon. I flew into the entrance and landed at their front door. I went in and told them the situation and then Superman said "we know we have been keeping our eyes on the situation. They showed me an image of a planet looking thing got in front of the sun and it's sucking the energy from the sun and I gasped in horror. I asked him lets do something about and everyone in the Justice League agreed with me. Everyone got up and flew off to face the creature that took our main source of power. I started to walk out and I noticed Superman wasn't going anywhere so I turned around and asked him "why aren't you going out there with the others. He sighed a sad sigh and told me that without the suns energy he's like a human being without powers. I tried to get him to go out there with us but he didn't then I got a very insane thought in my mind. I walked over to him and grabbed a little rock or something and closed my fist around it with the ring on it and closed my eyes and concentrated. When I opened my hand a Green Lantern ring and offered it to Superman and he rejected my offer at first.

But I reminded him that a lot of people on Earth are counting on him to save them and I used my ring secretly to find out he is married to Louis Lane and he is also Clark Kent reporter for the Daily Planet. Then I reminded him also if the earth dies his wife Louis will die too from freezing to death. With that he took the ring and put it on with a sudden surge of energy his powers returned to him and his costumed changed when he put it on. He took the mask off and then I made a Green Lantern battery and told him to recharge his ring because its time to save the world. He did what he was told and after he recharged his ring him and I flew off to meet the others to do battle with this creature. Unbeknownst to us Parallax also noticed the creature but didn't do anything but follow it. When Superman and I got there the rest of the Justice League were doing battle with the creature and there attacks did no damage to the creature. I heard a heartless laugh and when both Superman and I turned around we both saw Parallax laughing his head off at us. While we were dealing with the foul creature the earth began to get colder and colder.

I hope for the people on Earth to stay warm until we can stop the creature and I was also worried about Tess. I was about to pop the question to her when the earth started to go dark. Superman couldn't wait any longer and started to fly to the foul creature and started to do battle with it one on one since the other Justice leaguers were badly injured. Instead of stopping the creature with Superman I decided to do battle with Parallax. It was a grueling battle he hit me with his best shots and I hit him back with my own. We were both injured a lot and I looked at him straight in the eyes and said Hal we don't have to do this anymore. He didn't listen and started to attack me again I tried to restrain him but he kept getting loose and I grabbed him by his wrists like the last time and said Parallax don't you care anymore about the Earth. I felt some images go into my mind when I grabbed his wrists and saw his whole life flash in my mind. He said in a rather cold voice and said no I don't care anymore about the earth since the Guardians wouldn't help me I decided to help myself. The creature itself was waging a war against Superman even with the help of my Green lantern ring that I gave him it didn't help him very much and the creature beat him. He pulled away from me and I think both of us heard this when the creature spoke. The creature looked like a planet but different somehow it said I am The Sun Eater Beware My Wrath!!!

I tried to reason with him again but he wouldn't listen to me and by now our constant battle was wearing down our bodies. I reminded him of everything the Green Lantern stood for and spoke the oath of the Green Lantern: "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape by sight! Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power Green Lantern's light!" When I said that it didn't phase him at al in his subconscious and he just laughed. With the only thing that came to mind that would get him to help me. He was shocked when I said "if the earth dies so does the girl you Carol Ferris will die soon Parallax if we don't stop The Sun Eater. That hit him like a ton of bricks he stopped laughing and stood there. I couldn't take it any longer and I turned around and started to do battle on my own to stop the Sun Eater. When I turned and looked for Parallax for a second he disappeared. I didn't really care if he helps me or not I was going to keep battling the Sun Eater. Parallax teleported back to Earth in front of Carol Ferris house and she opened the door and they began to talk to each other. While this was going on my body was getting worn down even more doing battle with the sinister Sun Eater? They talked for a while then Parallax got up and kissed her lightly on the lips and said to her "I love you Carol and always and forever" then he teleported out of her house and teleported to the house of the crippled John Stewart.

John answered the door and they had a little small chat and with his powers Parallax used his powers to heal John's legs and teleported back into space. I turned around and I was a bloody mess he did the weirdest thing that I saw he started attacking the Sun Eater. Then I joined him in the fight and we still weren't enough to beat that foul creature into submission. When Parallax and I were standing next to each other not as enemies but as allies. I told him I was going to sacrifice my life to save the Earth. But he tried to stop me and remind me I had a loved one at home it didn't stop me. He sneaked behind me and hit me in the head with a cartoonish mallet. That rendered me unconscious and Parallax flew up to the Sun Eater and destroyed it with his powers. But the sun was still did not have its heat but it was a black hole. I woke up a few minutes later when I saw Parallax fly right into the black hole and entered it and with his remaining energy reheated the sun with a big burst that woke up the Justice league. I stood there after the others were revived and they all looked at me. The most incredible and the strangest thing happened a burst of green energy came surging from the sun and hit me like a ton of bricks. The blast knocked me out for a few seconds but when I opened my eyes I saw everyone in the Justice League standing over me. They soon asked me if I did all this but I replied no and said Parallax did and I heard him say: "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape by sight! Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power in a different light!"

They didn't believe me but I guess they thought I was kidding but I showed them with the help of my ring and showed them his self-sacrifice and then they believe me when I said he sacrificed his life for us. We then all preceded to go to the watchtower were the Justice League hang out and stuff. They asked me to join their ranks of the Justice league. I didn't know what to say but yes. After that whole traumatizing experience I flew home and Tess was waiting for me there but I couldn't pop the question to her now. I was too hung up on what Parallax did a selfless act that reflected on me that he wasn't such a bad guy after all. A few days later we went to the New Coast City and buried him in the graveyard with a big statue of Hal Jordan as a Green Lantern with a plaque inscribed on it: Hal Jordan a Hero for All Times.
